These are personal recreations of cinematic themes I love, produced entirely in the box. Each one is a study in arrangement and harmonic detail, and in working out why the original lands the way it does.
How I Think About Film Sound
Before I place a single element, I want to know what the scene is trying to make someone feel, and what the sound has to do to get there.
My dissertation research into AI in film sound design left me with one takeaway: better tools are not what's missing. A clearer question usually is.
