From Colombo to London.

My career started in 2018 when I began performing as a singer in Sri Lanka. But it was the craft underneath the music, how sound is constructed, shaped, and positioned, that became the real obsession. I released my first original track in March 2020, and within a few years had built an independent catalog with over 1.67M total streams, 2× BBC Asian Network Top 25 features, and a production company operating across music, film, and visual media.

I recently completed a BA (Hons) in Music and Sound Production at BIMM University Bristol, following a Pearson-accredited HND in Sound Engineering from Pearlbay Institute, Sri Lanka. My research dissertation examines the role of artificial intelligence in film sound design, a subject that sits at the exact intersection of my technical training and creative practice.

I came to engineering through making music rather than the other way round, and it shows in how I work: I hear a track as a performer and a producer first, then solve it as an engineer. Pop single, film score, or short film, I'm after the same thing: sound with intention.
